Reverend Fr. Hickman Alexandre

Hickman Alexandre is blessed to serve as the Vicar of St. James, Brookhaven, NY a congregation 65 miles east of New York City in the Diocese of Long Island.  He also serves as the Dean of the Great South Bay Deanery. A graduate of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, he has served his entire ordained ministry on Long Island. Previous service to the diocese and greater church includes serving as Archdeacon of Suffolk, Deputy to General Convention, Diocesan Council, Trustees, the Board of Managers of Camp DeWolfe and Episcopal Health Services.    He is committed to congregational development, church growth, and encouraging people to live out their faith beyond Sunday mornings.

Hickman was born and raised in Brooklyn.  In his free time, he enjoys, reading, going into the city, connecting with friends and colleagues around the country and world.  The highlight of his life is spending time and traveling with his wife Pierrette, and daughters Lauryn and Eva.   He is a passionate, diehard, and long suffering NY Mets, NY Knicks and Miami Dolphins fan.
