Reverend Ronald A. Smith, Sr.

Pastor Ronald A. Smith, Sr. has pastored since December 2000, at which time he founded Community Bible Baptist Church. He is married to Cynthia and they have been blessed with 7 children and 11 grands.

A native of Miami, he graduated with honors from Barry University. He later pursued his Master’s at Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. He was licensed to preach in October 1993 under the pastorship of the late Rev. Dr. Joseph C. Coats at Glendale Baptist Church.

Pastor Smith served the first 7 years as a bi-vocational pastor. He retired with 31 years of service as Airside Operations Division Director at the Miami-Dade County Aviation Department.

Pastor Smith has earned many honors and recognitions, but his most treasured acknowledgement is that of “the community pastor.” He is truly loved by children, youth, adults and other pastors for his love of the gospel and his commitment to the holy command of Christ “to love the Lord thy God…, and love thy neighbor… .” God has brought many to Christ under Pastor Smith’s ministry.
