The Reverend Earl Henry

Fr. Henry is a native of Belize City, Belize, where he had an active lay ministry before answering the call to the Sacred Priesthood. A graduate of Codrington College, Barbados, he returned to Belize where he was ordained to the Priesthood in 1979, and where he served the Diocese until he left for the United States in 1986. While in the Diocese of Long Island, Fr. Henry served on the Board of Camp DeWolfe, Diocesan Council and the Bishop’s Task force on Evangelism and Renewal. In the Diocese of Southeast Florida, he has served on the Executive Board and as Dean of the Broward Deanery. He is also a member of the African Ecumenical Ministerial Fellowship of Broward.In addition to his Theology diploma from Codrington, Fr. Henry holds a BA from the College of New Rochelle, NY, and an MS in Administration from Metropolitan University of New York.Fr. Earl F. Henry recently retired after serving for 21 years as Rector of the Church of the Atonement in Lauderdale Lakes. He came to the Diocese of Southeast Florida in 1998 after serving from 1992 to 1998 as Rector of St. Barnabas’ Church, Brooklyn, New York.
